A prelude to my greatest financial "mistakes"

In the last email I sent I told you we'd explore some of my...less-than-ideal...financial choices. And we will! I'm not really looking forward to it, but look, what's the point of pretending these things never happen(ed)?

Before we dive into specific examples, though, I wanted to share the following perspective with you.

I'm not 100% sure that I believe in the concept of financial mistakes. At least not irredeemable ones. There's always a path back from where you've been or up from where you are now, even if that place is bankruptcy. Every time I find myself "regretting" a money choice, I prefer to think of it as a data point along the path of discovering what I really value.

Money can accelerate our quest for integrity as we learn to put our money where our mouth is.

That's it. You're ready now. Next time we'll dive right into the deep end by examining my experience with student loans. 💀

Have an amazing week,

Tyler
