Bono's simple, pure faith in Jesus Christ provides a great example to me. He illuminates an exciting and core truth about prayer.
I pray to get to know the will of God because then the prayers have more chance of coming true.

This coincides precisely with something I've long believed, but poorly understood about the role of prayer.
"The object of prayer is not to change the will of God but to secure for ourselves and for others blessings that God is already willing to grant but that are made conditional on our asking for them." (Bible Dictionary)
I hope that my witness of Jesus Christ can be as simple, honest, and courageous as Bono's.
