How to get a YNAB referral link?
You can get a YNAB referral link from anyone who is a current YNAB subscriber and who purchased their subscription directly through YNAB. The link at the top of this article works because I am a current YNAB subscriber. If you have a friend or family member who uses YNAB, you can ask them for their link, or you can just use mine.
I’m already a YNAB customer, how do I send a referral on YNAB?
In order to qualify for the YNAB referral program, you need to have subscribed directly through YNAB and not through certain third-party apps such as the Apple App Store. Your referral link will not be available until your free trial period ends and you have started to pay for your YNAB subscription. There are two ways to access your YNAB referral link.
How to find your YNAB referral link on the web app
Log into YNAB in your web browser. Make sure that you haven’t hidden the left sidebar of your budget. Click the link in the lower-left corner of the screen.
How to find your YNAB referral link on a mobile device
You can easily share your YNAB referral link from you mobile device. Simply navigate to your settings and find the "Share YNAB" button. If you don't have the mobile app installed, you can navigate to YNAB’s referral program using this direct Referral Program link.
How to share your YNAB referral link
Once you’ve arrived at the YNAB Referral Program page, you will have the option to share your link via email using a pre-populated message, which you can customize to your liking. You can also share your link to Facebook or Twitter or copy the link directly and share it any way you please.
What do I get when someone uses my YNAB referral link?
You will get one free month added to your existing YNAB subscription every time someone uses your referral link to subscribe to YNAB. There is no limit to the number of free months you can earn.

There is a YNAB affiliate program. You can learn about the affiliate program on YNAB's website. In order to apply, you must have an audience size of over 25,000. The program currently pays 6 for every person who signs up for a free trial for YNAB using your affiliate link. You can earn even more money per free trial if you exceed certain thresholds. If you're an influencer who loves YNAB, this would not be a bad way to earn some extra money and move you closer to financial freedom!
