Night out
Last night I watched Jurassic World on an enormous screen. People surrounded me. Incredible sound generated by amazing speakers washed over me. The experience thrilled me, stimulated my senses, and provided a fun, if ridiculous respite from the reality of a long week at work. It was awesome.
This morning before I even got out of bed, I grabbed my phone and watched this video:
I was alone in my bed. I watched it on a phone-sized screen. Sentimental music and unexcited human voices played to my ears through tinny speakers. The experience touched my heart, stimulated my soul, and provided a welcome, if unexpected, respite from the lies of a world drenched in distractions. It was awesome.
