Déjà vu

When I walked into the cafeteria at work several weeks ago, I had a powerful episode of déjà vu. It must have lasted for 5-10 seconds, which in brain land seems like a really long time. I knew where I was standing, what food I would choose, where all the people around me would move, and I was even sure I had previously experienced the very conversation I had with a coworker.

The human body is astoundingly complex.

Self-awareness and being mystify me.

We understand very little about ourselves. Perhaps comparable with how little we know about the earth's oceans.
