Check out the finished product (in a total of 7 languages). The best part about this initiative is that it gave 7 students first hand experience managing a localization project of their very own--from recruiting resources to following through with deadlines.
In other news, I wrapped up a part-time project management position at Medialocate (a fantastic) localization provider located in Monterey, CA, and shipped out to a summer internship with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located in Salt Lake City, UT.
My first year of study at the Monterey Institute of International Studies prepared me well for these internships. Creating a localization startup taught me more about localization management than any class ever could simply because I got to try and fail and learn along the way to success.
